Organization Development Consulting
As a consultant I work with organizations seeking to achieve results and sustain peak performance. Cookie-cutter approaches to organization development just don't work. Sometimes you need someone to stand back, take the long view, and combine ideas and activities in totally new ways-so that people perform better.

Specific areas of specialization include: performance improvement, change and transition issues, conflict resolution, communication, team development, meeting facilitation and strategic planning. In all of these areas I work jointly with my clients to identify core problems, clarify what they want and need to do, and implement solutions that equip them to move forward.

Executive and Leadership Coaching
Coaching is a unique professional partnership that helps people stop and focus, identify goals, implement action plans, and move forward toward excellence. As a business coach, I specialize in working one on one with executives, middle managers, and small business owners, to:

  • increase team cohesiveness
  • retain key employees, and
    achieve and sustain peak performance

Team Coaching
As a team coach I facilitate groups to enable them to work together more efficiently and productively. The courses of action vary but may include a team-building activity, meeting facilitation, visioning and strategic planning or other support. The goal is to help people gain clarity, establish direction, identify and implement strategies to move forward, value differing styles, identify and resolve conflict, or simply work more effectively.

Practice Labs-Small Group Skills Coaching
In this setting I conduct an intensive work session on a particular topic. In small groups, people address specific issues affecting their work and receive personalized coaching. In the lab environment, participants take two hours to "hammer out" solutions to real work problems. Practice Labs provide participants with individualized feedback which allows them to practice specific skills and then implement these new approaches back on the job. Practice labs are followed by individual coaching sessions for each participant between group sessions.

In addition to providing these services, I work both individually and in partnership with other professional coaches to offer stand-alone coaching courses designed for small and large groups. A complete description of these courses is provided on the Corporate Workshops page of my website.
